The Bedfordshire Association of Cricket Coaches is the county's arm of the national England and Wales Cricket Board Coaches Association (ECBCA). Coaches who sign up to become a member of the ECBCA will automatically become a member of their local association as well. The Bedfordshire Association of Cricket Coaches has the following aims and objectives:
- To recruit and encourage cricketers, ex-cricketers and parents to become involved in cricket coaching.
- To have at least one qualified coach in each affiliated cricket club.
- To improve the standard of cricket coaching in Bedfordshire by developing and educating existing coaches.
- To provide a coach education programme that meets the needs of educating the new coaches and develops the skills of existing coaches.
- To provide a forum for discussion among the ECB Coaching Association members.
- To be an active consultant for county age group coaches nominations.
