Bedfordshire Cricket is delighted to announce the appointment of Dave Lawson as a Disability Coach in April 2017.
Dave has over 20 years’ experience working with and delivering sports coaching to disabled young people.
Chief Executive Martin Darlow said: “We are very fortunate to have recruited Dave who has a wealth of experience and expertise. He will make a real difference to our provision of cricket for all.” Dave added: “I was born and bred in Bedfordshire and worked for Grange Special Needs Pupil Academy for the last 18 years. I have played cricket for both Cople and Blunham Cricket Clubs and my claim to fame was to play both cricket and football for Bedford Town for over 10 years. For my new role, I aim to try and make sure cricket is available to all children who are disadvantaged and make it fun and help broaden their social skills.”
